Our Mission
Our mission at Sub Zero Basketball Club is to provide an environment that focuses on three aspects of the athlete. 1) consistent basketball skill and I.Q. development, 2) top tier competition, and 3) building a culture built on character and chemistry.
1) Simply put, if you want to take your game to the next level you have to train. You must train consistently and at a high level. Sub Zero Basketball practices focus on skill development within wide ranging skill and competitive drills. Practices are MANDATORY, being at practice helps build continuity and trust within players and staff. Showing up consistently builds discipline, a necessary trait needed to succeed as an athlete. Every practice/scrimmage/game is an opportunity to get seen. You never know who is watching, and you never know what opportunity may be on the horizon.
2) It's easy to play against lower competition, at Sub Zero Basketball we want to provide the exposure to playing top tier regional talent to help improve our players. You only get better by playing better competition. With top regional tournaments our players will get to face off against top teams and improve each day in practice and games.
3) There's something about the relationships built when a group of people come together to achieve a common goal. Many of our athletes live in different towns than another, but a unique bond forms none the less. At Sub Zero Basketball we are all about building a family, a family that stays connected regardless if we see each other every day or in the middle of the off-season. Together the bonds built help develop our athletes as young men and help better them for the future. Our MAIN GOAL is to help develop your sons for A) their high school season, and B) help get exposure and get noticed to play at the next level, where-ever that level may be. We want each and every kid that goes through our program to not only excel as a basketball players but also be a tremendous person of character and integrity. In the end sports isn’t just what happens between the lines, its the life lessons that help us on the road we travel.
